Reporting to the Branch Manager this position is responsible for achieving market share growth and customer service objectives, by leading and managing all merchandise operations.

 

As a Farm Supplies Sales Manager you will:

· Develop, implement and manage merchandise business plans and budgets.

· Lead a team of merchandise sales staff and monitor the performance of the team against business objectives.

· Manage the ordering, storage and administrative control of inventory.

· Implement and control a key account management program.

· Manage the process surrounding quotes and sales

· Provide expertise on products across farming industries such as broadacre cropping, livestock, and dairy.

· Management of Farm Supplies results in line with key performance indicators and expenditure

· Manage the performance of Farm Supplies sales and operations against business objectives

To be successful you will have:

· Previous sales experience, and proven sales achievements, in a rural farm supplies business

· Knowledge of products, clients, competitors and overall markets in the region

· Degree / diploma in an agricultural or related business discipline is desirable
