Guest Snooks Report post Posted August 12, 2011 The 2011 Sydney City To Surf is on again this Sunday and i was reading that they will have 85,000 entrants this year. For those of you that dont know anything about it, its a foot race from the Sydney CBD and it finishes at Bondi Beach, some 14 kilometres away. Its a very hard and challenging course with lots of hills. Many of the entrants are serious, professional Athletes, many more are just there for personal competition and others are there in whacky clothing, advertising groups of some sort and simply having fun. The main contenders start from the front line and when the starting gun goes, it takes over 20 minutes for the people at the back to actually start moving. That just shows how big it is.
