I'm flying over 1st March arriving 3rd, staying just out side Sydney for a bit and then gunna look to do some farm work & travel a bit

Do you have to worry about getting the farm work immediately? Isn't it just a requirement if you want to get a second year on your WHV?

No defo not.. I've heard really good things about farm work and plus it's a second yr visa...just gunna take it day by day to be fair

You are already here? And you have your 2nd year visa?

 

I was talking to a girl on a WHV today, on her second year, working in a cafe in Bondi Jn, told me that she did her 'farm segment' working in a roadhouse in Outback Queensland. I guess you don't actually have to work on a farm, just be in a country area??
