Family Stream Migration.

Just wanted to know if there was anyone who has experience of having all the family here in Oz as permanent residents but one child with wife and son wishing to come and join us from the U.K.Both well qualified and have one child 2yrs.Do they have to have jobs to come to, they would be living with parents.

They would need to meet the eligibility criteria for a visa.

 

You say that they are both well qualified - maybe take a look at the skilled migration options and whether they have a list on the SOL/CSOL. They will need an occupation on the list and meet a number of criteria including points for an independent visa (or alternatively seek an employer to sponsor a visa for them). There is also a last remaining relative visa, you can check their eligibility for that at DIAC as well. Even if they were eligible the waiting time for it to be granted (DIAC estimate 10-15 years+) probably puts it off most peoples list of options.
