Default some kind of specific notebook?

Hi everybody, I am 24 years old, 5’1” tall and 160 pounds in weight. I think I am overweight according to my height. So I want to start a diet soon. And I'm going to buy a diet journal, what kind of diet journal should I get, just a notebook, or some kind of specific notebook? And what should I put in there. I want to loose 60 pounds within 4 months. Because my height is suppose to weigh 100. Do you think I can do it? Or is there any other suggestion you have to loose my weight? If so please let me know.

Exclamation More than a diary...

Before you get a diary...

I suggest that you get some nutritional advice before you go on a diet. Do some research as to how your body uses food and water, what protien, fats and sugars are, and how they will affect your body. Get an idea about what you want to achieve, do you want to reduce you BMI or just your fat percentage, set a goal that you want to achieve.

Before you start a diet...

Consult you doctor, get an endochronological assessment and make sure that your hormones are in the normal range, is it safe for you to change your diet. Work out what foods will increase your metabolic rate. Get a high quality vitamin and mineral suppliment like "Swisse Ultivite".

A company like Sureslim will do all of the above and they will formulate a diet custom to your body type and hormonal profile, it is expensive though, but, how much is your health worth to you...

Once you have done all that, in your diet journal (I use a standard 240 page excersize book from a news agent) write down everything you eat (protien, carbs, sugars, vegtables), how much you eat (slices of bread, grams of cooked meat, grams of vegetables, grams of sugars) and what time you ate it (A healthy break between majour meals is about five hours, this allows the bodys metabolisim time to absorb nutrients and stabalise) Also depending on how you diet, you will also need to write down the snacks you eat in the above format ie( what, how much, when). The reason behind this is that a nutritionist will limit you to a certian number of carbohydrates per day ie(1 slice of brown bread), and a certian amount of protien per meal ie(125g cooked meat), so you can work out if you are on track keeping accurate records is important. Generally green leafy vegetables can be eaten without limit. Things like potato and pasta will probably be banned while your loosing weight. You will also need to cut out most sugars from your diet as well and probably be limited to three pieces of fruit per day.

Weigh yourself once a week on the same day at the same time, wearing as little as possible. (it will give you an idea of your progress and keep you motivated untill you achive your goal)

If you want to diet safley it has to be done scientificaly and be monitored by a professional.

I lost 35kg in 6 months just by changing my diet, I did no excersize at all.

good luck!
