Default 2011 NRL Finals - Who will win?

Well with only 5 rounds of the standard season to go, who is going to win the NRL Rugby League Minor Premiership?

I think Melbourne have been the dark horse and got uder the radar, with both Manly Sea Eagles and St George Dragons getting the spotlight.

Im tipping Melbourne Storm to win the minor premiership but the Grand Final to be won by Manly Warringah Sea Eagles

Go the mighty Sea Eagles !

St George Dragons are certainly stumbling on the run home, Manly Sea Eagles are going ok but not achieving quite the level of play that they hoped for.

Melbourne Storm and Western City Tigers are certainly setting the competition alight.....only 4 rounds to go until we start the semi finals and its still a very close race for the final 8.

Its been a great season

The mighty Manly Waringah Sea Eagles thumped the Sydney City Roosters today. They outclassed them totally and racked up a geat score.

Manly showed skill and determination and proved why they deserve to be running second in the competition.

4 rounds to go and things are looking good.

I see the mighty Sea Eagles beat Parramatta Eels....this was to be expected though it turned into a pretty tough game.

3 rounds to go and the battle for the Minor Premiership is on

Broncos thumped the NZ Warriors, Sea Eagles destroyed Nth Qld Cowboys, Saints got a touch up by the Tigers and at this point in time, Storm vs Newcastle is the only remaining match to play.

Theres been some great football and todays results decides which two teams have finished their season for 2011.

Well what a match it was last night.

NZ Warriors def Tigers 22-20 by scoring a try in the closing 2 mins. It was a shattering moment for the Tigers and pretty sad, given they won 10 in a row to get to the semi-finals.

Tonight is Brisbane Broncos Vs St George Dragons. The winner of this match plays my beloved manly Sea Eagles next Friday evening to see who is the first team into the Grand Final.

Fingers crossed

Well the Grand Final was won by Manly Sea Eagles who defeated the NZ Warriors 24-10 in what was a highly skilled and brutal encounter.

In front of a crowd of 82,000, on a cold, wet and windy evening, the teams played a game that was hard and fast and neither team made any major mistakes at all. After countless attempts the Eagles gradually got ahead, only to face a determined come back from the Warriors.

After some high tension and gruelling final minutes, the 2011 Trophy went to Manly.

Congratulations, well done and i cant wait until 2012 starts
