It might not be on everybody's itinerary, but I went for a walk at lunchtime to the fishmarkets - and I thought it was worth a mention in this part of the forum. It takes a while to walk there from the CBD (at least 20 minutes, depending on where you start from) but you can also catch the tram from Central Station. Here are some photos I took:

You do take great photos Fran and you seem to have a knack of making an inanimate object become something that has life and character. I wish i could do the same, any time i take photos they always come out lifeless and lacking something
