i watched this film the other night...brilliant!

a guy is asleep one night to be woken by someone in his house. he chases the guy outside with a baseball bat. the intruder stops, turns around and appears to reach inside his waistband for a gun. the guy hits him with the bat killing him.
when the police arrive no weapon is found on the intruder, and the guy is charged with murder as the incident happened outside his property.

he's put in jail and the daily violence he witnesses and is part of is horrendous.!
you really feel for this poor bastard as he's put in this terrible situation.

val kilmer is great as the lifer he shares a cell with!
