Default Aussie farmers

Sorry to be so serious...but do Sydneysiders really understand or appreciate where our food comes from?

In Rudd's budget, research in Australia for agriculture has been slashed, on top of closing regional research stations that are trying to study climate change and how to adapt our farming practises to adapt. Not to mention providing employment for our uni educated kids.

After nearly a decade of drought (possibly) exasperated by climate change farmers are being denied ongoing finance from banks, many (too many) are leaving the industry altogether and communities over a century old are being decimated.

PLEASE show support for regional Australa - at present we are losing money producing food for Australia - we have no leadership and foreign interests are taking huge advantage.

Thanks, Ned.
