Default Are dogs more important than people?

I've had several encounters with "dog people" in my local park and the essence of their position is that "If you don't like dogs stay out of the park!".

Have any other Forum members had this experience?

Default It can be a real problem

Some dog owners are quite careless about where they let their muts go.
Best is not to let yourself be upset and to walk quietly away.
Arguing only seem to make the situation worse.

Default "dog psychos"

Yes, I have had this problem alot! "dog people" are some of the rudest, most judgemental people ever! They act as if their dogs have more right to be in public than people! People are the ones who pay the taxes, not the dogs. I've actually had my character brought into question after confessing to not liking dogs! My character & my ability to love have nothing to do with the fact that I would rather not be molested by someone's annoying dog whenever I leave my house! I have a good heart, and happen to love alot of things...just not dogs!

Default ... and they think that I need a psychologist...

I've had my sanity questioned.

Just because I questioned their right to shove some mutt in my face.

I really do wonder about people whose main social connection is a dog.

Unhappy dog people

My own auntie once told me that if I don't like her dog, then I needn't bother going to her house anymore! Can you believe that?! My own auntie! What is this world coming to when people chose dogs over family? I was her niece before he was her dog, but whatever!

Smile cats rule!

I have cats, too, & I absolutely love them! Perfect pets, they are. They aren't needy, they don't invade your personal space, they don't trash your pad while your at work, and so on and so forth.

You obviously have very obedient cats. Our cats DO trash the joint.

And you forgot to say they are FUNNY. Well at least our cats are.

Smile cats

Actually, one of our cats is obedient, but the kitten is pretty bratty! She's so cute, though. It's hard to get mad at her! We just got her last week, & our older cat doesn't quite know what to think of her yet. They are pretty funny to watch.

Default Runnaway Dogs...

As I was driving home yesterday I saw a small dog running along the middle of the main road near the local off leash park. No owner in sight.
That the third ownerless dog that I have seen in the middle of the road in almost as many weeks.
I don't think it was having a lot of fun.
