Hi everyone!
My boyfriend has just accepted a job in silverwater nsw.

So we are moving to Sydney from Scotland!! This will be a massive change for us and I am looking for as much advice from people who live in sydney as I can get.

In particular we are unsure of good area's to rent accomodation relatively close to silverwater which I think is west nsw?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! xx

Stay out of Auburn, Granville, Lidcombe....... theres too much crime.

Newington is probably the nicest place near Silverwater. It is a rather new suburb - if your tastes are more for older areas, maybe Homebush could be worth checking out.

Most Australians though don't live near their work though.....
